York Museum Gardens | Natalie and Jack engagement shoot

Last Friday I met up with Natalie and Jack for their engagement photoshoot in the York Museum Gardens. I first met them at the I Do Wedding Show at Elland Road, Leeds back in February, where they entered my competition to win either an engagement shoot, or the hire of my photobooth.

The rules of my competition stated that entrants must submit a selfie on my stand at the show to either Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Natalie and Jack were the lucky winners when I picked their photo at random out of all the entrants.

The Museum Gardens had significant meaning to the couple as it was where they met – it was therefore the perfect spot to celebrate their upcoming marriage. The beautiful gardens are set in the ruins of St. Mary’s Abbey, incorporating the Hospitium. We got some shots around the ruins, Hospitium and gardens before heading down to the river.
