I don’t know if the Coronavirus lockdown has sent me slightly bonkers or the sun went to my head a tad this weekend, but when I suggested to my son that we could hold wedding ceremony for his soft toys in the garden, he jumped at the chance!
We decided that two of his carrots from Aldi’s ‘The Carrot’ family would be a great bride and groom. It was only later that my husband informed me that we had married off brother and sister Jasper and Chantenay. Sincere apologies for any offence caused by conducting an incestuous ceremony. But they are toys right, no harm done? My five year old simply loved the fact that ‘mummy and daddy carrot’ got married and baby carrot was the page boy.
All of the carrot family’s friends and family were in attendance, all in all a great day was had all round! Plus I have realised it won’t be too many years before I will have a great second shooter to assist. The way he got everyone organised for the group shots was very impressive!
OK, maybe I need a lie down. I took this whole thing rather too seriously. Still it makes sure I don’t loose my touch with my camera skills.
So set the video to HD and crank up the volume!
