My expertise is in wedding photography – as you may have guessed! I cannot advise you on what dress to buy, what flavour cake you should choose in order to please all your guests or whether to hire a DJ or band for your evening reception. However, over the years I have picked up a few tips that may help your wedding day run that little bit more smoothly.
I am looking back at Sophie and Andy’s festive wedding at The Old Barn at Esholt last December today. The nights are starting to get darker now and summer seems to be a distant memory so it seemed the right opportunity showcase some wintery weddings.
I cannot quite believe how quickly this year’s main wedding season has wizzed by. It seems only a short time ago I was heading out to my first wedding of 2019 back in February, but here we are already in September. So as August drew to a close, I popped over to Harrogate for Charlotte and Marco’s wedding at the beautiful The Old Swan.
At Saturday’s wedding the bride’s parents provided the music entertainment, there were slush machines for guests to make their own frozen cocktails, pies were on the menu for grub and beer pong was on hand to keep the everyone entertained/merry – oh and it was BYO on the drinks front too. I knew it was going to be my kind of wedding.
