Wedding photography FAQs: What wedding photography packages do you offer?

One of the questions I am commonly asked is ‘What wedding photography packages do you offer?’ I like to say that I keep things simple, and essentially that is what I do. All my packages have one very common theme – me all day, your full set of ready to print images on USB memory stick and access to your own personal online gallery where you can download your images, share with family and friends and buy prints from your own personal online store. It is true that I offer other packages too, but imagine the other packages being the main package with bolt-ons to give you that extra bit of something. Let me go into more detail…

This is a breakdown of what is included in ‘the wedding package’:

The wedding package £1,200*

  • Pre-wedding consultation
  • Full coverage wedding photography (prep to half an hour after first dance)
  • Your full set of high resolution images on USB memory stick (suitable for printing)
  • Licence enabling you to arrange your own prints and share your photos with family and friends (for personal use).
  • Password protected online gallery containing your photos to share with family and friends. (With the option of downloading and purchasing prints directly from here too).

However, many of my clients (and I do too) love to be able to hold and touch their photos in the real world. In the ever increasing digital world in which we live, I think there is still a great demand for printed photographs. With that in mind I offer two album package options. Remember, they still include your digitals as outlined above.

Coffee table package £1,350*

This includes everything in ‘the wedding package’ plus a 25x20cm, 40 page (20 spreads) coffee table style photo book containing your favourite 65 photos from the day.

Deluxe package £1,800*

This includes everything in ‘the wedding package’ plus a deluxe, hand made 10″ x 10″, 60 page (30 spreads) fine art photo book containing your favourite 100 photos from the day.

Part day options – price on enquiry

I am happy to discuss a tailored quote for mid-week part day wedding coverage. Between October and February I am also happy to take part day bookings on weekends too.

The following can be added to my packages:

  • Pre-wedding/engagement shoots in a location of your choice (+ £150*)
  • Second photographer – includes groom or bride prep and a second perspective of your day – up to speeches (+ £300*)

These are extra items that you can add to any package. I don’t include them as standard because not everyone wants them. An engagement shoot can be a fantastic way of getting used to being in front of the camera and to also get an extra set of professional photos of the two of you. Let’s face it, how often do you get nice photos of you as a couple?

The option to have a second shooter is also a matter of preference. I would suggest if you have a large wedding having a second shooter might be advisable in order to capture all your guests candidly. You may also be up for a second photographer if you would like both parties’ prep. Not just focusing on the bride for example.

Extra books and albums

I should also add, you are not restricted to one album or book. You can order extras for family and friends at anytime too. Mix and match to your hearts content. I even do multi purchase discounts and thank you cards. I will do a separate blog on that another day, but in the meantime, have a look at my printed products page to see my full range and discounts available.

*Prices correct as of February 2020. Pricing is subject to change. I will accept bookings up to two years in advance of your wedding at the rate of the current advertised rate.

How to book

I can be accused of waffling on sometimes, so I hope I haven’t confused you further! I appreciate booking your photographer is not an easy decision. You will want to know about my style, how I work and what I’m like as a person.

Therefore, before you decide to book I think it’s always nice to meet up. If you would like to book a no obligation natter at my home office (in Horsforth, Leeds) simply select a date and time that works for you and I will be in touch to confirm! I don’t bite and I provide coffee for free. Book an appointmentvia the link on my contact page.

If you decide you would like to book, there is a booking form and contracts that need to be completed and I invoice you for 10% of your fee to secure your date. Once all the technical stuff is sorted, you are all set and booked in!

2020/21 bookings now being taken

My diary is now open for 2020 and 2021 weddings.

If you like what you see, please do get in touch and I will check my availability for your date.
